- Handling guest requests and directing complaints to the appropriate person.

- Maintaining a pleasant and qualified appearance.

- Saying goodbye to guests and thanking them for visiting.

Waitress role A waitress is more directly involved in serving food and beverages. Dutiesgenerally include:

- Taking food and drink orders.





- Serving food and beverages to guests.

- Explaining menu items when required.

- Setting and clearing tables.

- Checking on guests during their meal.

- Communicating special requests or dietary requirements to the kitchen.

- Preparing and presenting bills.

- Processing or coordinating payments according to hotel procedures.

- Maintaining cleanliness and proper table setup.

- Providing courteous customer service.
