Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Leadership-Lead curriculum design and development in line with UGC and university standards. Ensure effective delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Promote innovative teaching methodologies and outcome-based education
2. Research & Development-Drive high-quality research, publications, and funded projects. Guide PhD scholars and supervise research activities. Foster collaborations with industry and academic institutions
3. Administrative & Department- ManagementOversee day-to-day functioning of the department. Allocate workload and monitor faculty performance. Ensure compliance with UGC, NAAC, and other regulatory bodies
4. Faculty Development & Team Leadership. Mentor and guide faculty members. Promote career development, training, and academic growth. Build a collaborative and high-performance team culture
5. Student Engagement & Outcomes. Ensure academic mentoring and student support systems. Monitor student performance, placements, and progression.



Address student grievances effectively
6. Strategic Planning & Quality Assurance-Prepare departmental plans, budgets, and reports. Contribute to accreditation processes (NAAC/NBA)Drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Eligibility Criteria (As per UGC Norms)- Ph.D. in relevant discipline and minimum 15 years experience in Professor level with administrative role. Relevant publications and research experience to meet University requirement is mandatory. Key Skills & Competencies
