Role Description The History Teacher will deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in History, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
Responsibilities include designing lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs. The role involves creating an inclusive classroom environment, integrating experiential learning activities,
and collaborating with colleagues on curricular and co-curricular initiatives. The teacher will also participate in parent interactions, school events, and continuous professional development programs as required.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in World History and American History, with the ability to connect historical events to contemporary contexts.
- Demonstrated experience in History Education and Lesson Planning, using innovative and student-centered teaching strategies.
- Skills in Curriculum Development for History, including designing assessments and learning outcomes aligned with educational standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Education, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Proficient classroom management and communication skills, with a commitment to creating inclusive, respectful learning spaces.
- Ability to integrate technology and experiential learning methods into teaching practices.
- Prior teaching experience in school settings, preferably at primary or secondary levels.
- Willingness to participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
