Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive – Medical Purchase to manage the procurement of medicines, medical supplies, surgical items, and hospital consumables. The role involves vendor coordination, quotation comparison, purchase order processing, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely availability of required materials at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day procurement of medicines, medical supplies, surgical items, and hospital consumables.

- Source and evaluate vendors based on price, quality, availability, delivery timelines, and service.

- Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.

- Coordinate with Pharmacy, Stores, Clinical Departments, Finance, and other internal teams for purchase requirements.

- Monitor stock requirements and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid shortages.

- Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, delivery, shortages, damages, and returns.

- Verify purchase documents including POs, invoices, GRNs, and delivery challans.





- Maintain updated vendor records, product details, pricing, and purchase data.

- Monitor expiry, slow-moving, and quick-moving items in coordination with the Pharmacy/Stores team.

- Support vendor performance evaluation and develop reliable vendor relationships.

- Ensure procurement activities comply with hospital policies, statutory requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.

- Prepare regular purchase reports, MIS, cost analysis, and procurement summaries.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements without compromising quality and availability.

Qualification

- Any Graduate / B.Pharm / M.Pharm preferred.

- Relevant certification in Medical/Pharmacy Purchase will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in Medical Purchase / Pharmacy Purchase / Hospital Procurement.

- Experience in hospital or healthcare procurement is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
