Role Description The Help Desk Desktop Support role is a full-time, on-site position based in Madurai. The role involves providing first-level technical support for desktop computers, operating systems, printers, and related peripherals to internal users. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to support tickets, diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing basic repairs or configurations, and escalating complex problems when needed.

The role also includes guiding users through troubleshooting steps, following established IT policies, and contributing to a secure and secure computing environment.

Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience with desktop computers, including installation, configuration, and basic hardware maintenance.
- Proficiency in desk top support and technical support, with the ability to handle user queries and resolve common IT issues.
- Experience providing printer support, including setup, driver installation, and troubleshooting printing problems.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues within a Windows or similar environment.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems, office productivity software, and antivirus tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with users and work effectively in an on-site support environment.
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings and familiarity with IT security and data protection practices are advantageous.
