About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Operations to lead and own day-to-day operational excellence across multiple hospitals and home veterinary services. This is a leadership role requiring a hands-on operator who can build scalable processes, drive accountability, and ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of operations leadership experience, preferably in an early-stage startup, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or other service-driven industries.

Key Responsibilities1. Hospital Operations

- Lead day-to-day operations across all hospitals by managing clinic managers.
- Oversee operations for at-home veterinary visits, including dispatch planning, travel coordination, equipment readiness, medicine availability, and inventory planning.
- Manage inpatient (IPD) operations to ensure efficient hospital functioning and patient care support.

2. Customer Experience & Process Excellence

- Ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience through accurate billing, timely health updates, effective shift scheduling, and clinic inventory management.
- Take ownership of clinic-level Profit & Loss (P&L;) and operational performance.
- Build, optimize,



and standardize operational processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and service quality.

3. Data, Reporting & Decision Support

- Prepare, track, and share accurate clinic-level operational reports with leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Develop structured reporting systems and operational metrics to support data-driven decision-making and business planning.

4. SOP Development & Compliance

- Create, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across clinics and home services, including:
- Clinical treatments and workflows.
- Billing and reporting processes.
- Customer communication protocols.
- Procurement and inventory management.
- Housekeeping and facility management.
- Asset and data management.
- Monitor SOP execution and ensure compliance across all locations and field operations.

5. Resource & Inventory Management

- Plan staffing and resource allocation across hospitals and home visit teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain optimal stock levels of medicines, consumables, and medical equipment across all sites.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading operations in healthcare, hospitals, retail, hospitality, or service-based organizations.
- Experience working in a high-growth startup setting is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of multi-location operations, process optimization, and team management.
- Experience managing P&L;, operational KPIs, and cross-functional coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field and office-based operational environment.

Preferred Background Candidates with operations experience in:

- Hospitals or healthcare organizations.
- Retail chains or multi-outlet businesses.
- Hospitality or customer service operations.
- Service-based or early-stage startup environments.

Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
