FyneHand has been mandated to hire a Head of Construction for a leading warehousing and storage firm. The job location is Mumbai.

Role Overview: The Head of Construction leads the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale industrial, logistics, and Grade-A warehouse building developments. The core objective is to deliver safe, high-quality, and cost-effective industrial structures and logistics parks on time and within financial budgets.

Key responsibilities:

- Project Execution & Delivery: Oversee end-to-end site construction, from land development and pre-construction planning through civil, pre-engineered building (PEB) structures, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations, and final handover
- Financial & P&L; Management: Drive project budgeting, cash flow forecasting, cost control, and profitability monitoring across multiple locations
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols alongside strict statutory and regulatory building compliances
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct multi-disciplinary project management teams and coordinate with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external clients

Qualifications & Experience:





- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management (Master’s/MBA in Project Management or related field is a plus)
- Years of experience: 16+ years of progressive experience in the construction, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), or real estate development sector, with a heavy focus on industrial buildings, logistics parks, and PEB structures

Key Behavioral Capabilities:

- Proven expertise in techno-commercial operations, P&L; ownership, contract law, critical path scheduling (MS Project/Primavera), and vendor network management
