Position Overview:

The Head - Construction will lead the end-to-end planning, execution and delivery of multiple construction and infrastructure projects at Sri City. The role is responsible for project timelines, budgets, quality, safety, statutory compliance and the effective management of contractors, consultants and internal teams.

Key responsibilities:

· Lead projects from concept and design coordination through construction, commissioning and final handover.

· Prepare and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, cash flows and resource requirements across multiple projects.

· Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, estimates and construction methodologies for technical accuracy, cost effectiveness and constructability.

· Manage architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and vendors, ensuring clear deliverables and accountability.

· Oversee tendering, bid evaluation, contract finalisation, billing, variation orders, claims and commercial closure in coordination with relevant teams.

· Ensure compliance with approved designs, contractual requirements, building regulations, statutory approvals and applicable codes.

· Drive quality assurance, quality control and EHS standards through regular site reviews,



audits and corrective actions.

· Track progress against approved schedules, identify risks and delays early, and implement recovery and mitigation plans.

· Review project MIS, cost reports and progress dashboards, and provide timely updates to management.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders, utility teams and authorities to resolve issues and ensure uninterrupted project execution.

· Lead and develop the construction team, establish standard processes and promote accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

· Manage project handover, as-built documentation, snag closure, warranties and defect-liability obligations.

Candidate Profile:

· B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering; a postgraduate qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred.

· 15-20 years of experience in construction and project execution, including leadership responsibility for multiple large-scale projects.

· Experience across industrial, commercial, residential, institutional or infrastructure developments.

· Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, cost control, quality standards, safety practices and statutory requirements.

· Proficiency in project-planning and reporting tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project; working knowledge of AutoCAD and ERP or SAP systems is desirable.

· Solid leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
