Job Title: Finance & Accounts Head

Location: Sion, Mumbai

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: Founder

Salary Range: ₹24 – ₹28 LPA

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance & Accounts Head to lead the financial operations of the organization. The role involves overseeing accounting, financial planning, compliance, and reporting, while driving financial efficiency and supporting business growth initiatives, including effective management of investors and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Strategy

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership for decision-making
- Monitor cash flow, profitability, and cost optimization

2. Accounting & Compliance

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements
- Oversee bookkeeping, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closures
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and audits
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead annual budgeting and periodic financial forecasting processes
- Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions




- Track financial performance against budgets

4. Internal Controls & Risk Management

- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial SOPs

5. Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounts team
- Drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team

6. Investor & Stakeholder Management

- Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and key external stakeholders
- Prepare and present financial reports, investor updates, and performance summaries
- Support fundraising activities, due diligence, and financial negotiations
- Ensure transparency and timely communication of financial performance

7. MIS & Reporting

- Prepare and present MIS reports to management on a regular basis
- Provide actionable insights on revenue, expenses, and profitability
- Support business units with financial data and analysis

Key Requirements

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance
- Experience: 10–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG / Skincare/Haircare
- Robust knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and compliance management
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ZOHO) and MS Excel
- Strong stakeholder/Investors management skills
- Proper experience in all belowmentioned areas
