Position: Head – Civil Engineer

Location: Project Site - Khalapur, Maharashtra

Experience: Minimum 10 Years

Salary Budget: ₹19,20,000/- CTC per annum

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Roll

Key Responsibilities

A. Contractor Management

- Supervise and monitor the day-to-day work of civil contractors.
- Review contractor work progress against agreed schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and project teams.
- Ensure contractors execute work as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify delays, execution issues, and deviations and take corrective action.

B. Cost Control & Payment Verification

- Monitor construction costs and control unnecessary expenditure.
- Verify quantities and measurements of work completed before recommending contractor payments.
- Ensure payments are made against actual work executed and certified.
- Monitor contractor dues and payment schedules.
- Identify discrepancies between work completed, measurements, bills, and payments.
- Support project cost forecasting and budget monitoring.

C. Quality Control

- Ensure construction work meets the company's required quality standards.
- Monitor workmanship, materials, and construction processes.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate testing and inspection of construction materials and completed work.
- Identify quality issues and ensure timely rectification.

D. Project Monitoring

- Monitor daily and weekly construction progress.
- Ensure project activities are completed within approved timelines.




- Track critical activities and identify potential delays.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management.
- Coordinate with internal departments for timely resolution of site-related issues.

E. Technical Supervision

- Review drawings and technical specifications before execution.
- Ensure proper sequence and methodology of construction activities.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and other technical agencies.
- Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and other civil works.
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities and measurements.

5. Required Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management will be an added advantage.

Experience:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Experience in residential and commercial building projects is required.
- Candidates with experience handling projects from execution through finishing and handover will be preferred.

6. Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of building construction and civil engineering practices.
- Good understanding of MIVAN / aluminium formwork construction.
- Contractor management and work allocation.




- Quantity estimation and measurement verification.
- Construction cost control and billing verification.
- Knowledge of quality control and construction testing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of project planning and construction schedules.
- Strong understanding of site safety and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and construction/project reporting tools.

Pay: ₹140,000.00 - ₹160,000.00 per month
