Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter configuration and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance domain, software architecture, client engagement, and end-to-end global delivery. The role will also involve technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, stakeholder collaboration, and implementation ownership.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Perform Guidewire configuration, customization, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, code reviews, walkthroughs, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Support offshore-onsite delivery and coordinate effectively with global teams and clients.
- Participate in RFI/RFP and proposal activities, including solutioning and technical estimations.
- Ensure adherence to development standards, architecture principles, and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills

- Solid hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Good knowledge of Guidewire configuration, Gosu scripting, UI, and Data Model.
- Strong understanding of Web Services, XML, YAML, Maven, and Ant.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle or SQL Server and strong SQL skills.
- Exposure to SCM tools such as Git, TFS, or SVN.




- Experience with application servers/containers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.
- Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of middleware/frameworks such as MuleSoft, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

Insurance & Guidewire Experience
- Strong Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance domain knowledge.
- Minimum 3–4 Guidewire implementation experience.
- Experience working in an end-to-end global delivery model.
- Proven experience leading offshore-onsite Guidewire implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe.

Leadership & Client Skills
- Robust team leadership, mentoring, and code review experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct client workshops, walkthroughs, and technical discussions.
- Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders across different levels of a client organization.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Expertise in software estimation and delivery planning.
- Hands-on experience supporting RFI/RFP and proposal activities.
