Role Summary

We're looking for a designer who is genuinely fluent in both print and motion someone who can prepare a press-ready dieline in the morning and cut a fifteen-second product film in the afternoon, without a drop in quality either way. Our output moves across packaging, retail collateral, digital campaigns and short-form video in the same week, and it all needs to look like it came from one hand. This role is the single point of accountability for how our work looks, wherever it appears.

Key Responsibilities

Print & Production Design

- Packaging, labels, dielines and structural artwork, prepared to press-ready standard
- Brochures, catalogues, product sheets, exhibition/event collateral, standees, hoardings and in-store POS material
- Pre-press discipline: CMYK/spot-colour separation, bleed & trim, overprint & trapping, resolution, stock selection, and finishing (lamination, spot UV, foiling, embossing, die-cutting)
- End-to-end vendor coordination: releasing artwork, proofing, on-machine colour approval, and closing production issues before they become reprints
- A versioned, reprint-ready artwork archive

Digital & Brand Graphics

- Social creatives across formats, campaign key visuals and performance-ad variants
- Web/landing-page graphics, email templates and presentation decks
- Working inside and extending the brand system: type, colour, grid, iconography, photographic treatment
- Fast variant production — the same idea resized and re-typeset across multiple placements without losing the composition

Motion Graphics & Video Finishing

- Short-form social cuts (6–30s),

hook sequences, kinetic typography and on-screen text systems
- Explainer and product films, storyboard through animation and sound sync
- Logo stings, lower thirds, transitions, end cards and subtitle styling
- Colour finishing, platform export presets and file-weight management
- Reusable After Effects templates for recurring formats

Systems & Documentation

- Template libraries and master files that compress turnaround
- A written visual system so a new hire can produce on-brand work in week one
- An organised, growing asset library (logos, fonts, icons, textures, mock-ups, footage)

What You'll Bring

- 2–4 years producing both print production artwork and motion graphics — studio, agency or in-house
- A portfolio with work that has actually been printed, and the ability to talk through the production decisions behind it
- Robust typography — non-negotiable
- Motion with intent: timing, easing and rhythm, not default transitions on static layouts
- The ability to read a brief and return a credible first cut without three rounds of clarification
- Comfort working at volume, without treating volume as an excuse for weaker work

- Colour judgement that survives the trip from screen to paper

Tools Must-have

- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign at an advanced level
- Adobe After Effects at a strong working level, including basic expressions
- Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Figma, for digital design and developer hand-off
- CorelDRAW (standard in Indian print vendor workflows)
- AI-assisted tools (generative fill, upscaling, background removal) used as accelerators, not a substitute for craft

Nice-to-have

- Illustration (hand-drawn or vector)
- 3D in Blender or Cinema 4D for product visualisation
- Photography or on-set art direction
- Multilingual typesetting (Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil)
- Sound design sensibility for motion work
- Large-format and outdoor production experience

What We Offer

- Complete ownership of visual craft across a multi-brand output
- A short decision chain — direct access to the people who approve work
- Budget for tools, typefaces, stock assets and training
- Work that ships and is seen at volume, rather than sitting in decks
- An in-house AI video and content capability alongside you

How to Apply

- A portfolio (link or PDF) with at least 3 print projects and 3 motion pieces
- For any two projects: a short paragraph on the brief, your decisions, and the constraint you designed around
- Your notice period and preferred start date

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short, time-boxed practical exercise (one print + one motion deliverable), followed by a portfolio walkthrough.
