Job Summary

NTV is looking for an experienced GFX Engineer with hands-on experience in Television / Broadcast Graphics Operations. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in WASP 3D or equivalent broadcast graphics software and should be capable of handling live graphics requirements for news and television programs.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate broadcast graphics systems for live television programs and news broadcasts.

· Create, prepare and operate on-air graphics as per program requirements.

· Handle Lower Thirds, Breaking News graphics, Headlines, Tickers, Full Screens, OSGs and other broadcast graphics.

· Operate WASP 3D or equivalent broadcast graphics software.

· Prepare and update graphics templates and content for live programs.

· Coordinate with Producers, News Editors, Output Editors and PCR teams for graphics requirements.

· Ensure accurate and timely insertion of graphics during live broadcasts.

· Monitor on-air graphics output and immediately identify technical issues.

· Troubleshoot graphics-related technical problems during live transmission.

· Ensure proper integration of graphics systems with the broadcast workflow.





· Maintain and organize graphics templates and related files.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Multimedia, Animation, Broadcast Technology or a related field.

· 2–3 years of relevant experience in Television / Broadcast industry.

· Hands-on experience in WASP 3D or equivalent broadcast GFX software is mandatory.

· Practical experience in live television graphics operations.

· Good understanding of News Channel / Television Broadcast workflow.

· Knowledge of live news graphics, tickers, lower thirds and full-screen graphics.

· Ability to work under pressure during live broadcasts.

· Positive coordination and communication skills.

· Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in News Channels, Television Networks, Broadcast Houses or Media Organizations and practical experience in WASP 3D or similar broadcast graphics systems will be preferred.
