nStandard Furniture Mart is a design-led custom furniture workshop based in Dehradun, working closely with architects, interior designers, and end users .

1. Analyse clients’ needs and develop designs as per requirements
n
2. Conceptualise and model furniture using softwares such as AutoCad, SketchUp, SolidWorks etc.
n
3. Create visual furniture layouts & mood boards for clients
n
4. Coordinate with the operations team and carpenters to ensure all furniture designs are in keeping with company standards and regulations
n
5. Coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure all designs are accurate and feasible
n
6. Assist in ideation and prototyping of in-house furniture collections

nSkills we’re looking for

n

n

n
1. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must (SketchUp, Rhino, or Fusion 360 are a bonus)
n
2. Eye for design, proportion, detailing, and materials
n
3. Strong understanding of furniture construction methods & ergonomics
n
4. Clear communicator, proactive, and willing to take ownership
n
5. Undergrad in furniture design, interior design or a related field
n
6. A working knowledge of furniture ergonomics & joinery
n
