About the Role

Worktual is an AI-native customer engagement platform offering solutions across CRM, Campaign Management, AI-Native Contact Center, Chatbot & Voice Bot, CDP, CVM, Web Tracking, Social Media Automation, and Ticketing.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Lead / Senior Lead who combines strong hands-on development skills with technical leadership and architecture expertise.

The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable enterprise/SaaS applications, microservices, real-time systems, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native solutions. You will lead a team of engineers while remaining actively involved in architecture, coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end design and development of frontend applications, backend services, APIs, databases, and AI-enabled features.
- Design scalable applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js/Python/Java, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka.
- Architect microservices and event-driven systems using Kafka, Redis Pub/Sub, REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and asynchronous messaging patterns.
- Build highly scalable real-time systems for chat, web tracking, campaign engines, contact centers, voice solutions, and social media automation.
- Design secure multi-tenant SaaS architectures incorporating PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS), RBAC, MFA, encryption, and audit logging.
- Build integrations with CRM, CDP, ERP, payment systems, social platforms, communication platforms, and external APIs.
- Implement and integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, Conversational AI, Agentic AI workflows, lead scoring, and AI content-generation capabilities.
- Perform hands-on coding, code reviews, architecture reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Drive engineering best practices around CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, logging, security, and observability.
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.




- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, technical risk management, and delivery tracking.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, AI, Database, Product, QA, and DevOps teams.

Required Technical Skills

Frontend:

React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Responsive Web Design, WebSockets

Backend:

Strong experience in at least one or more of Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Django), or Java (Spring Boot) with solid knowledge of microservices architecture.

Messaging & Real-Time Systems:

Kafka, Redis, Redis Pub/Sub, WebSockets, event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, REST APIs, GraphQL

Databases:

PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, data modelling, query optimization, database performance tuning

Cloud & DevOps:

AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code

Security & SaaS Architecture:

Multi-tenancy, Row-Level Security (RLS), RBAC, MFA, encryption, audit logging

AI Preferred:

LLM integration, RAG, Generative AI, Conversational AI, AI Agents / Agentic Workflows

What We Are Looking For

- 8 to 12+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development expertise.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Tech Lead, Full Stack Lead, or Lead Software Engineer.
- Robust hands-on development experience; this is not a purely managerial role.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable SaaS, enterprise, microservices, or distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of Kafka/Redis, APIs, real-time communication, databases, security, and cloud architecture.
- Ability to make sound architecture decisions and explain technical trade-offs.
- Strong code-review, debugging, problem-solving, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience delivering production systems in an Agile environment.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in Customer Engagement Platforms, CRM, CDP, Contact Center/CCaaS, Chatbots, Voice Bots, Campaign Management, Marketing Automation, Social Media Automation, or AI-powered SaaS products will have an advantage.
