About MANTRAA

MANTRAA helps Indian businesses actually change how they work, not just talk about it. We work alongside a clients team over several months: understanding how the business really runs, building what it needs, and training people until they are confident running it themselves. We don’t replace people. We make the team they already have work better.

Why this role

We are an early-stage company, and this is a founding role. You will work directly with the founder, shape how MANTRAA engages with clients, and help build the practice from its first engagements. If you want a big team, set processes and a narrow brief, this isn’t it. If you want to build something and see your work change a business, read on.

What you will do

With clients

- Lead discovery with business owners and their teams, and get to the real problem behind the stated one.
- Run short diagnostic engagements and turn what you find into a clear, practical solution.
- Explain technical choices in plain business language to people who don’t live in technology.

Build

- Build prototypes and proofs of concept yourself when that is the fastest way to show what’s possible.
- Design solutions end to end: data, integrations, workflows and the tools people will use every day.
- Review code, architecture and estimates, and push back when something isn’t right.

Deliver

- Lead the engineers and specialists on each engagement, and own quality, timelines and outcomes.
- Break solutions into clear, scoped work that a team can deliver against.
- Make sure everything built is documented and belongs to the client and MANTRAA.

Enable and grow

- Train client teams and stay close until what’s built is actually used.




- Spot the next problem worth solving inside an account, and help shape proposals with the founder.

What you bring

- 6+ years across software engineering, data or technology consulting, including time working directly with clients.
- Hands-on skills: Python, SQL and data modelling, LLM APIs, retrieval (RAG) and automation, cloud deployment, and integrating with systems such as CRMs and ERPs.
- Experience leading delivery, including directing engineers you don’t line-manage.
- The judgement to know when to build, when to buy and when not to use technology at all.
- Clear communication with founders and business owners, in person and in writing.

Valuable to have

- Experience with mid-size or family-run Indian businesses, especially in real estate, manufacturing or financial services.
- Comfort working in Hindi as well as English.

Compensation The fixed salary range for this role is 18–25 LPA. On top of fixed pay, the role includes:

- Performance-linked variable pay, linked to the engagements you lead and help grow.
- A long-term ownership stake in MANTRAA through ESOPs for the right person, so you share in what you help build.
