Role Description This full-time, on-site Field Quality Engineer role is based in Jaisalmer and supports quality assurance and control activities at the project site. The role involves monitoring construction work for compliance with technical specifications, standards, and contract requirements, including inspection of materials, workmanship, and field tests.

The Field Quality

Engineer will prepare and maintain quality documentation such as inspection reports, test records, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans. The position requires close coordination with site engineering, construction, and contractor teams to resolve quality issues, support audits, and implement continuous improvement measures.



The individual will help drive adherence to safety and quality policies, participate in toolbox talks and quality meetings, and support training on quality procedures for site personnel.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Quality Assurance and Quality Management skills to develop, implement, and maintain site quality plans and procedures.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to conduct inspections, verify test results, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, report quality findings, and engage with contractors and stakeholders.
- Degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline, with experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, quality management systems, and relevant codes and regulations applicable to construction projects.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and basic quality-related software tools for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaisalmer, including in challenging field conditions, while maintaining focus on safety and quality.
