Role Description The Family Medicine Resident will provide comprehensive primary care services to individuals and families across all age groups, with a focus on preventive medicine and ongoing health management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, taking detailed histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting basic diagnostic tests, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The resident will support in-home care initiatives by collaborating with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, and home health aides to coordinate patient care and follow-up.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, educating patients and caregivers on health promotion and disease prevention, and participating in clinical case discussions and training activities. This is a full-time, in office role located in Bhinmal.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge in Medicine and Family Medicine,



with commitment to continuous learning.
- Skills in Primary Care, including management of common acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
- Experience or training in Preventive Medicine, with ability to promote wellness and disease prevention.
- Proficiency in Direct Patient Care, including history-taking, physical examination, and care planning.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS Family Medicine
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and provide patient-centered, culturally sensitive care.
- Clear, compassionate communication skills in spoken and written form; local language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to work in an on-site, community-focused setting in Bhinmal and support in-home care services.
