Maintaining updated & error free books of accounts as per applicable accounting principles with complete ownership of the accuracy of entries, Trial Balance and Variance analysis, ensuring Propriety of expense, Statutory compliance, Provisioning, instituting Internal control and Internal check systems, Physical Stock Verification, Document management, CAPEX management etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Core- Control, Compliance and Books
- Passing all the entries in a timely manner and ensure all the accounts are maintained in a hygienic condition with no unexplained balance.
- Monthly updates on budget available and details of budget spent to unit
- Review all the provisions / accruals and propose write back of items no longer required
- Debit/Credit Notes to transparent on monthly basis and sharing with Unit commercial
- Rate difference Debit notes to be clear on priority.
1. Payments & Vendor management
- Ensure bottlers payment by 1st & 7th of every month
- To review oven POs and ensure closure if not required on monthly basis
- To perform vendor reconciliation and ensure corrective action.
- To review bills received under imprest & ensure its correctness. Timely re-imbursement.
- Ensure all service bills are checked before booking and ensure payments on time
- Ensure timely booking of Import/export fee, Excise duty and arranging challans accordingly
1. Internal Controls
- Internal SOP checks for each month for respective Units and share the anomalies with the unit for corrective action.
- Physical verification of DG/WG/FG as per SOP & ensure necessary cycle count is made
1. Balance Sheet Schedule & MIS Reports
- Analysis of Balance Sheet schedule by 10th of every month and take corrective action wherever required.
- Preparation of Zonal MIS
- Ensure that work orders are closed by unit on daily basis.
- Ensure to take comments on Slow/ Non-Moving stocks with unit commercial on monthly basis
- Preparation & submission of monthly check reports to FFM/ZFM
- Sending monthly update to unit on Returnable Gate Pass.
1. Statutory Compliances
- Ensure VAT/CST returns are prepared and filed in timely & accurate manner
- To get command on monthly GST returns -GSTR1, GSTR 3B by assisting FFM
- Ensure timely issuance of “C” and “F”-forms to Suppliers & timely acknowledgment in JDE
- To keep the data ready for GST assessments and VAT assessments for audit.
