Job Title: Azure Fabric Data Architect

Location: Pune

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect/ Architectutre to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in up-to-date data architecture, cloud data engineering, analytics, and team leadership. This role requires the ability to drive technical solutions, mentor teams, engage with stakeholders, and deliver scalable data platforms that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies.
- Design scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Engineering, and Real-Time Analytics solutions.
- Lead data modernization and migration initiatives from legacy platforms to Azure Fabric.
- Define enterprise data architecture, data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Drive best practices for data security, data quality, compliance, and performance optimization.
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Technical Leads.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Provide effort estimation, solution proposals,



and technical guidance during project delivery.
- Work closely with delivery managers and client stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage project risks, escalations, and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.

Required Skills

- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Architecture, or Analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong expertise in:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Power BI
- SQL and Data Modeling
- ETL/ELT Design and Development
- Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
- Strong understanding of Lakehouse Architecture and modern data ecosystems.
- Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and data governance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring technical teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Databricks, Spark, and Python.
- Exposure to AI/ML and advanced analytics solutions.
- Experience in Agile delivery methodologies.
- Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric certifications.
- Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.

Qualifications
