Guide and assist the staff in performing their duties; check and ensure that the mis-en-place before and during service is proper and adequate; control food wastage and proper utilisation of leftover food; maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure that the work areas are kept neat and tidy; check and prepare food as per standard recipes; maintain proper portions, quality and consistency of food; check and prepare food under hygienic conditions with special emphasis on personal hygiene; check and maintain all equipment, appliances systematically and properly. In addition, perform such duties and carry out such responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the Executive Chef
