Prima Group is a Kochi-based agro-industrial group established in 1965. Our businesses include cattle feed manufacturing, edible oil solvent extraction and refining, and packaged drinking water, operating through multiple manufacturing units across Kerala.

Role Summary

We are looking for an organised, dependable compliance professional to own statutory compliance across all group units. Filings and licence applications are handled by our qualified consultants. Your job is to make sure nothing is missed: track every licence and filing, coordinate with consultants and plant teams, check their work, and keep management informed.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance tracking

- Build and maintain a single group-wide register of all licences, consents, permits and statutory filings, with expiry and due dates.
- Initiate renewals 60-90 days before expiry and follow through until the renewed document is received.

Consultant coordination

- Act as the single point of contact between the group's compliance consultants and each unit.
- Collect documents, data, fees and signatures from units and deliver them to consultants on time.
- Review consultants' filings and submissions for accuracy; flag errors, delays or unusual charges.

Labour compliance

- Ensure timely PF, ESI, Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund payments and returns for all units.




- Verify contractor compliance, including PF/ESI coverage of contract workers and contract labour licences.

Licensing and inspections

- Keep licence copies, statutory registers and returns organised and inspection-ready at every unit.
- Coordinate visits and inspections by labour, factory, boiler, environmental, food safety and local authorities, and track closure of any observations.

Reporting

- Submit a monthly compliance status report to management covering upcoming due dates, pending items and risks.
- Escalate any lapse or risk of lapse immediately.

Preferred candidate profile

Essential

- Graduate; MSW, MBA (HR) or equivalent preferred.
- 4-7 years of experience handling statutory or HR compliance at a manufacturing company.
- Hands-on working knowledge of PF and ESI portals, returns and processes.
- Experience coordinating with licensing or compliance consultants.
- Fluency in Malayalam and English, spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel regularly to units across Kerala; two-wheeler or four-wheeler licence.

Preferred

- Exposure to factory, boiler, KSPCB, FSSAI or BIS licensing.
- Experience in food, feed, edible oil, beverage or chemical manufacturing.
- Experience managing compliance across more than one unit or location.
