Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Epicor Kinetic ERP Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting Epicor Kinetic ERP solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Epicor Kinetic architecture and development tools, including BPMs, BAQs, Application Studio, REST APIs, Functions, Data Directives, Method Directives, UI customization, SSRS, and SQL Server.

The candidate will work closely with business users, functional consultants, IT teams, and customers to understand business requirements and develop scalable ERP solutions that improve business processes, automation, reporting, and system integration.

Key ResponsibilitiesEpicor Kinetic Development & Customization

· Develop, customize, and maintain Epicor Kinetic ERP applications based on business requirements.

· Develop and maintain Business Process Management (BPM) workflows, including Method Directives and Data Directives.

· Create and optimize Business Activity Queries (BAQs) for reporting, integrations, dashboards, and business processes.

· Develop Epicor Functions and reusable business logic.

· Perform UI customization using Epicor Application Studio.

· Configure and customize Kinetic forms, dashboards, menus, and workflows.

· Develop customizations while following Epicor best practices and upgrade-safe development principles.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Epicor business logic, customizations, integrations, and performance.

· Analyze existing customizations and recommend improvements or modernization opportunities.

Integration & API Development

· Design and develop integrations between Epicor Kinetic and third-party applications.

· Develop and consume REST APIs and Epicor services.

· Work with Epicor REST endpoints, business objects, services, and Functions.

· Integrate Epicor with eCommerce platforms, shipping systems, CRM systems, payment gateways, EDI systems, marketplaces, and other business applications.

· Develop data synchronization processes between Epicor and external systems.

· Work with JSON, XML, REST, HTTP, authentication, and API-based integrations.

· Troubleshoot API and integration-related issues using tools such as Postman.

Database & SQL Development

· Develop complex Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.

· Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance.

· Work with Epicor database structures and understand relationships between ERP tables and business objects.





· Develop SQL-based reporting and data extraction solutions.

· Assist with data validation, migration, cleanup, and troubleshooting.

· Ensure database development follows Epicor-supported practices and does not compromise ERP upgrades or system integrity.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

· Develop and maintain SSRS reports and other Epicor reporting solutions.

· Modify existing reports and create new reports based on business requirements.

· Develop BAQs to support dashboards, reports, and operational processes.

· Troubleshoot reporting issues and improve report performance.

· Work with users to translate business requirements into meaningful reports and dashboards.

Business Process & ERP Support

· Work with functional teams and business users to understand ERP processes and requirements.

· Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.

· Support core ERP modules such as:

o Sales Order Management o Purchasing o Inventory o Warehouse Management o Shipping o Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable o Manufacturing o Production o Scheduling o Customer Management

· Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

· Participate in Epicor upgrades, patches, testing, and deployment activities.

· Create technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and solutions.

Required Qualifications

· 5+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP development experience.

· Strong experience with Epicor Kinetic ERP development and customization.

· Robust knowledge of:

o Epicor Application Studio o BAQs o BPMs o Method Directives o Data Directives o Epicor Functions o REST APIs o Epicor Business Objects / Services o SSRS

· Strong SQL Server development experience.

· Experience developing and troubleshooting REST/API integrations.

· Strong understanding of ERP business processes.

· Experience with software development lifecycle, source control, testing, and deployment.

· Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Epicor Kinetic Cloud.

· Experience with Epicor Kinetic SaaS architecture and cloud deployments.

· Experience with Epicor REST v2 / REST services.





· Experience with Epicor Functions and Application Studio.

· Experience integrating Epicor with:

o eCommerce platforms o EDI systems o Shipping/carrier platforms o CRM systems o Payment gateways o Marketplace platforms o Warehouse systems

· Experience with C# / .NET development.

· Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

· Experience with Git or other source-control systems.

· Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.

· Experience with Epicor ERP upgrades and migration projects.

· Epicor certification is a plus.

What You Will Do in This Role The successful candidate will be responsible for more than simply writing Epicor customizations. You will help organizations extend Epicor Kinetic, automate business processes, integrate third-party applications, improve ERP performance, and develop solutions that support business growth.

This role is ideal for an experienced Epicor developer who enjoys solving complex ERP problems and working across both technical and business-process areas.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
