Role Description The Engineering Manager (Canada, Australia & Germany) will oversee engineering teams and technical initiatives that support Esse India’s visa and immigration consulting operations, with a focus on services related to Canada, Australia, and Germany. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, coordinating software development projects, and ensuring integration of internal systems and tools used by consultants and clients.

The Engineering

Manager will define project scope, plan and track delivery, collaborate with product and operations teams, and establish best practices for software quality, scalability, and security. This role also includes mentoring team members, optimizing engineering workflows,



and proactively identifying technical improvements to enhance client experiences and internal efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills to guide diverse technical teams and drive high-quality delivery.
- Candidates should possess solid Software Development experience with contemporary technologies and practices to oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of systems.
- Candidates should possess effective Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute initiatives aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills to connect internal platforms, third-party tools, and data sources for seamless workflows.
- Relevant experience working in product or platform-oriented environments, preferably in consulting, professional services, or regulated domains.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.
- Experience managing or working with distributed or cross-border teams is beneficial, particularly in contexts related to Canada, Australia, or Germany.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
