We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our Product Engineering team in Bengaluru. The role involves testing and validating SMS Firewall and Voice Firewall solutions, ensuring product quality, identifying defects, and supporting successful product releases.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Validation

- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Validate SMS Firewall and Voice Firewall features, rules, and traffic scenarios.
- Verify functionality across SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter, SIP, and SMPP interfaces.
- Prepare test reports and release validation documents.
- Identify, reproduce, and track software defects.
- Analyse logs, CDRs, and PCAP traces to troubleshoot issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and validate bug fixes with the development team.
- Support feature validation, UAT, and release testing.
- Work closely with Development, Deployment,



and Support teams to ensure product quality.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA feedback.

Required Technical Skills

- Knowledge of SS7, SIGTRAN (M3UA/SCCP), SIP, Diameter, and SMPP.
- Understanding of SMS routing, A2P messaging, and voice signaling.
- Experience testing SMS Firewall and Voice Firewall solutions.
- Familiarity with telecom fraud detection (IRSF, Wangiri, CLI Spoofing, SMS Spam, SMS Bypass).
- Wireshark (PCAP analysis)
- Linux / RHEL
- PostgreSQL (basic queries)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routing)
- Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing.
- Test case design, defect tracking, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of test automation is an added advantage.
