:

The major responsibility of this role is to do BI & DWH project implementations using ETL tools – (IICS/IDMC/CDIPC)/Databricks. He/she is responsible for guiding the team and sharing knowledge with them. Candidate will be responsible for successful deployment and support of the code. competencies/Skills: Individual Contributor Competencies

Skills

- 2+ years of hands-on and good experience in ETL tools – Informatica (IICS/IDMC/CDIPC)/Databricks
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of BI/DWH.
- Knowledge of Agile Methodology/ Protected Practices
- Responsible for proof-of-concept of new approaches and ideas, technology evaluation, maintain the As Is data architecture, develop To Be and transition architecture.
- Ability to understand the domain and communicate with client/business
- Self-motivated and ability to work on his/her individual capacity
- Ability to identify automation opportunities and implement automation
- 2+ years’ experience in performance tuning of report under high data volumes.

- Basic overview of Absence Management industry and absence terminology
- Establish, maintain and enforce ETL design principles,



techniques, standards and best practices.
- Drive the technical design of ETL reference architecture to ensure high data quality, data integration performance and error recovery/handling.
- Review and assess existing ETL applications, to support new features, performance improvements, upgrades, and ongoing sustainment
- Support on-going ETL environment and support during maintenance or failure
- Work closely with ETL migration/ network teams and DBA’s on operational failures and triage issues.
- Expertise in shell scripting & SQL Query Writing
- Experience in drafting ETL specifications
- Understanding and ability to explain development of logical data models
- Manage and prioritize enhancements activity by closely working with business and provide regular status reporting
- Good understanding of various data models, both relational and dimensional and their associated principles.
- Knowledge of governance and metadata management of ETL tools
- Vast experience in performance tuning of report under high data volumes.

Technology:
- Informatica Power Center & Power Exchange/SyncSort/ SSIS/ PIG, Unix, SVN, Oracle, Python, R programming
- Informatica Certified preferred

Education and Experience: Education: B.Tech Computers/MCA

Experience: 2 to 8 years in development projects with BI/ DWH background
