- Design and write production firmware in C and some C++ on STM32 F4/H7/G4, nRF52840, ESP32-S3 and RP2040 using FreeRTOS/Zephyr or bare-metal.
- Implement drivers and protocols including DMA-driven UART/SPI/I2C/CAN, USB, BLE, MAVLink and custom radio protocols; write secure bootloaders and OTA update paths.
- Bring up new boards alongside hardware engineers using oscilloscope, logic analyser and JTAG/SWD debuggers; isolate hardware versus firmware faults.
- Build automated hardware-in-the-loop and Python-based test rigs for regression testing.
- Optimise firmware for real-time determinism, power consumption and memory footprint.
- Maintain firmware architecture documents and participate in code and design reviews.
- Use AI/LLM tools daily for code generation, datasheet analysis, test-plan drafting and design-review preparation, and verify all generated output.
- Maintain structured, versioned engineering documentation using Git, issue trackers and design-review packages.

Experience 35 years hands-on product development (design/build/ship; not support, services, or QA-only)

Key Skills

- 3+ years writing production embedded C on ARM Cortex-M class devices that shipped in a product.




- Comfortable with RTOS concepts including tasks, ISRs, queues and priorities, and debugging hard faults, timing and concurrency issues.
- Can read schematics well enough to trace a signal from pin to peripheral register and use a scope/logic analyser to prove it.
- Python scripting for test automation and tooling.
- Can read a schematic, flash and debug a microcontroller, and write a Python utility script.
- Personally shipped at least one hardware/firmware product or field prototype to a real user.
- Fluent with Git, issue trackers and structured written design documentation.
- Willing to work on defence and dual-use programmes and travel for field trials.
- Valuable to have: MAVLink/ArduPilot/PX4, radio/telemetry firmware, functional-safety or MISRA-style coding discipline, motor control, battery management or power-electronics firmware.

Work Preference On-site at Thaltej, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with field-trial travel within India. Candidates with real-world shipped embedded products and hands-on board bring-up experience are required.
