Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Experience: 3 to 8 Years

Job Responsibilities

- Lead and manage electrical design activities for material handling systems such as conveyors, sorters, elevators, and related automation equipment.
- Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Design and validate control panels, power distribution systems, MCCs, and VFD panels.
- Work on PLC-based control systems, preferably Siemens or Allen Bradley.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Automation, Project, and Production teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards, safety norms, and customer specifications.
- Provide technical support during site installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Guide and mentor junior electrical design engineers.
- Handle technical discussions with clients and resolve electrical design-related queries.
- Independently manage electrical design activities for assigned projects and ensure timely completion.

Key Skills Required




- Strong experience in electrical design for material handling systems.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and/or EPLAN.
- Valuable knowledge of PLC, VFDs, sensors, motors, field instruments, and control systems.
- Understanding of industrial automation and electrical control systems.
- Experience in designing control panels, MCC panels, VFD panels, and power distribution systems.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle projects and lead electrical design activities.

Qualification
- Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design.
- Candidates with experience in material handling, conveyor systems, industrial automation, or manufacturing projects will be preferred.
- Candidates with 3–8 years of relevant experience may also be considered based on their technical skills and project exposure.
