Key Responsibilities

1 Incident Management & Troubleshooting

Provide Level 2/3 support for applications built on .NET Framework and Visual Basic.

Troubleshoot application crashes, functional defects, and performance issues.

Debug issues related to assemblies, DLL dependencies, and configuration mismatches.

Analyze logs, Windows Event Viewer, and application traces to identify root causes.

Follow ITIL-based Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes using ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy.

2 Reporting & Data Integration Support

Support, troubleshoot, and enhance SSRS reports, subscriptions, and scheduled deliveries.

Debug and optimize SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

Resolve data accuracy, performance, and failure issues in SSIS jobs.

Support business users with reporting requirements and ad-hoc data requests.

3 Database & Query Optimization

Analyze and optimize SQL queries,



stored procedures, and indexes.

Resolve database performance issues impacting application and reporting workloads.

Support data validation, reconciliation, and data consistency checks.

4 UI & Integration Support

Support applications leveraging iFrame-based integrations between internal and external systems.

Troubleshoot rendering, authentication, and session-related issues in embedded applications.

Collaborate with frontend and integration teams to resolve cross-application issues.

5 Performance Optimization

Identify performance bottlenecks in application code, database queries, and reporting layers.

Optimize application response times, report execution duration, and data refresh cycles.

Monitor application health and proactively address performance degradation.

6 Server & Environment Support

Deploy and support applications hosted on IIS and Windows Servers.

Manage Windows Services, batch jobs, and scheduled tasks supporting application workflows.

Coordinate workplace-related fixes across Development, QA, and Production systems.

7 CI/CD & DevOps Support

Support build and deployment pipelines for .NET and SSIS/SSRS artifacts.

Assist with automated deployments using Azure DevOps, MSBuild, and release pipelines.

Maintain source control practices using Git or TFS.

8 Security & Compliance

Ensure applications and reports comply with enterprise security and compliance standards.

Support secure authentication, authorization, and data access controls.

Address vulnerabilities and audit findings related to application and reporting platforms.

9 Collaboration & Documentation

Work in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments supporting continuous improvement.

Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Infrastructure, DBA, and Business stakeholders.
