: Dispatch Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and results-driven Dispatch Supervisor to oversee our daily dispatch operations. In this role, you will lead a team of dispatchers and coordinate closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams to optimize delivery schedules, streamline routes, and maintain top-tier service levels. Duties & Responsibilities Operations & Logistics Management

- Optimize routing: Review delivery tickets and implement efficient scheduling and routing strategies to minimize travel time and fuel costs.
- Monitor fleet productivity: Track driver and truck performance via GPS software to ensure vehicles are utilized at peak efficiency.
- Manage inventory flow: Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure inward and outward inventory processes are aligned with daily dispatch schedules.
- Track performance metrics: Maintain daily reports analyzing route performance, delivery times, and overall fleet operational costs.

Team Leadership & Supervision

- Supervise personnel: Direct, mentor, and evaluate the performance of dispatchers and delivery drivers.
- Organize work schedules: Create shift rotas, manage employee absences, and handle shift scheduling to ensure 24/7 or peak-hour coverage.
- Conduct training: Onboard new hires on dispatch routing software, geographical awareness, and standard operating procedures.

Customer Service & Compliance

- Resolve issues: Act as an escalation point to handle route delays, missed deliveries,



and customer complaints regarding damaged merchandise.
- Ensure safety compliance: Enforce company policies alongside regional DOT (Department of Transportation) safety regulations.
- Cross-functional coordination: Partner with the sales and customer service departments to minimize shipping errors and satisfy client expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications Education & Experience

- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of successful logistics, transportation, or dispatch experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or logistics is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

- Dispatch software: Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking platforms, and routing software.
- Data management: Competence in standard office tools like Microsoft Excel for tracking metrics and building reports.

Core Competencies

- Problem-solving: Ability to make quick, logical decisions during agile, unexpected delays or emergencies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between drivers, clients, and corporate management.
- Multitasking: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple delivery schedules and phone queues simultaneously.

Working Conditions

- Fast-paced office setting with frequent trips to the warehouse floor or loading docks.
- Requires a flexible schedule, which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, or on-call availability depending on company operation hours.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
