Customer Discovery & Opportunity Shaping

- Lead discovery conversations with prospects and customers to understand their business, learning, content, product, and technology challenges.
- Go beyond stated requirements to identify underlying problems and potential opportunities.
- Facilitate solution workshops and ideation sessions with customer stakeholders.
- Help customers think through possibilities they may not have considered, particularly around AI-enabled learning, content modernization, performance enablement, and learning platforms.
- Work with Sales and Account teams to shape opportunities from early conversations through proposal and closure.

Solution Design & Consulting

- Translate customer needs into clear, differentiated, and implementable solution approaches.
- Design solutions spanning digital learning experiences, content, platforms, learning workflows, AI, data, integrations, and related technologies.
- Bring together instructional design, user experience, content strategy, and technology rather than treating them as separate disciplines.
- Define solution vision, scope, key components, architecture direction, assumptions, dependencies, and implementation approach.
- Balance innovation with feasibility, customer value, cost, timeline, and delivery risk.

POCs, Prototypes & Solution Innovation

- Identify where a POC or prototype can help validate an idea, demonstrate value, or accelerate a customer decision.
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of POCs with instructional designers, UX teams, architects, AI specialists, and engineering teams.
- Evaluate emerging AI and learning technologies and determine where they can create meaningful customer value.
- Convert successful customer solutions and experiments into reusable accelerators, frameworks, demos, and solution offerings.

Learning & Domain Leadership

- Bring a strong understanding of the digital learning ecosystem including LMS/LXP, authoring and content platforms, LCMS, assessment, skills and competency systems, learning analytics, and learning standards.
- Understand instructional design principles and be able to discuss learning objectives, practice, assessment, feedback, engagement, personalization, and performance outcomes with learning leaders.
- Keep abreast of how AI is changing content development, learning platforms, knowledge access, skills development,



and learning in the flow of work.
- Help Harbinger evolve its solutions based on changes in the learning and technology landscape.

Solution Storytelling & Presales

- Present Harbinger's solutions, capabilities, case studies, prototypes, and point of view confidently to senior customer stakeholders.
- Create compelling solution narratives rather than simply presenting capabilities or technology features.
- Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, solution presentations, estimates, and statements of work.
- Participate in customer workshops, demos, conferences, webinars, and other thought-leadership conversations where appropriate.
- Help Sales and Delivery teams position the right Harbinger capabilities for each customer situation.

Cross-functional Leadership

- Work closely with Sales, Presales, Delivery, Engineering, Content, UX, AI, Marketing, and Partnership teams.
- Bring the right specialists into customer conversations without losing overall ownership of the solution.
- Support Delivery teams during solution transition and ensure that what was envisioned during presales can realistically be delivered.
- Mentor solution architects, business analysts, instructional designers, and other customer-facing team members in consultative solution thinking.

Role Purpose We are looking for a Solutions Head – Digital Learning who can shape solutions at the intersection of learning, technology, content, and AI.

This is a customer-facing role. The person will work closely with prospects and existing customers to understand their business and learning challenges, uncover opportunities, and translate those needs into practical solutions. They will lead solution design, POCs and prototypes, and help articulate how Harbinger's capabilities and experience can solve customer problems.

The role requires someone who understands the learning domain deeply, has a good grounding in instructional design and digital learning experiences, and is technically strong enough to confidently engage in conversations around platforms, integrations, data, AI,



architecture, and emerging technologies.

This is not a pure presales or solution architecture role. We are looking for someone who can connect the dots between what the customer is trying to achieve, how people learn and perform, what technology can enable, and what can realistically be built and delivered.

What We Are Looking For, an ideal candidate will have:

- 15+ years of experience with significant exposure to digital learning, learning technology, EdTech, HRTech, digital content, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of the learning domain and digital learning ecosystem.
- Good understanding of instructional design and learner experience principles.
- Experience conducting customer discovery, solution workshops, consulting, or presales conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to design and present complex solutions to senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Working understanding of modern application architecture, APIs and integrations, cloud platforms, data, analytics, and AI/GenAI.
- Ability to work effectively with architects and engineering teams without necessarily being a hands-on developer.
- Experience taking ideas from discovery through solution design, prototype/POC, proposal, and implementation.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, storytelling, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex learning and technology concepts for different audiences.

What Would Make Someone Particularly Robust for This Role Experience in some of the following would be valuable:

- AI-enabled learning solutions, copilots, agents, RAG, knowledge systems, or AI-assisted content workflows.
- LMS/LXP/LCMS and learning platform implementation or product development.
- Content modernization, structured content, authoring platforms, or large-scale content operations.
- Learning standards and interoperability such as SCORM, xAPI, LTI, or related standards.
- Skills intelligence, assessments, simulations, practice environments, or performance-support solutions.
- Product engineering or platform modernization within the learning industry.
- Consulting with CLOs, learning product leaders, content leaders, and technology executives.
