Role & responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end finance controllership, accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance for the India entity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls.

- Drive month-end/quarter-end closures, group reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR, intercompany accounting, audits, and finance risk management.

- Oversee tax, GST, TDS, Income Tax, RBI/FEMA, and Companies Act compliance while ensuring timely regulatory filings and audit closures.

- Manage outsourced compliance partners through defined SLAs and quality controls, while driving the transition of key functions in-house.

- Establish robust SOPs, review frameworks, compliance calendars, and process improvements.

- Lead and develop a team of 46 finance professionals while partnering closely with global Finance, Tax, Legal, and HR teams.

Preferred candidate profile

- The ideal candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (CA)



with 10+ years of progressive experience across accounting, controllership, finance operations, and statutory compliance.

- Strong practical expertise in Ind AS, US GAAP, Indian taxation, GST, TDS, audits, internal controls, and RBI/FEMA compliance is essential.

- Candidates should have proven experience managing finance teams, outsourced service providers, audits, and stakeholder relationships within a multinational or foreign-investment environment.

- Preferred experience includes Big 4/top-tier audit firms, IT Services/Technology Consulting/GCC environments, Oracle NetSuite or SAP, SOX compliance, and Companies Act secretarial compliance.

- Solid English communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management capabilities are expected.
