Role & Responsibilities ;-

- Extensive experience in Steel Melting, AOD/EF, Continuous Casting, Ingot Casting, Rolling, and Forging operations for Carbon, Alloy and Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloys.
- Expertise in Heat Treatment processes including Carburizing, Vacuum Heat Treatment, and Stainless Steel treatments (Solution Annealing, Aging, etc.).
- Robust exposure to casting processes, including centrifugal casting for Phosphor Bronze, and comprehensive metallurgical testing.
- Proven capability in project planning, resource management, and process improvement methodologies (TPM, 5S, Kaizen).
- Skilled in vendor quality improvement, stakeholder management, and driving cost and performance optimization.
- Experienced in laboratory operations covering mechanical, chemical, and metallurgical analysis, along with quality assurance and process control.
- Overall responsibility for Operations and Quality functions, including Steel making, Continuous casting,

Ingot Casting, Rolling Mill, Heat Treatment, along with Quality Function.
- Actively involved in supplier-side forging operations, overseeing hot forging and heat treatment processes to ensure metallurgical compliance, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to customer specifications.
- Active involvement in development and optimization of heat treatment cycles for bars and pipes to meet mechanical and metallurgical requirements.
- Key contributor in process parameter standardization and freezing through SCADA systems across various grades and cast sections to ensure consistency and process control.
- Management of customer complaints, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementation and monitoring of effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).




- Serving as Management Representative, responsible for monitoring and sustaining Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001:2015, EN 9100:2018 (Aerospace), and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certifications.

Led restructuring of the Quality organization, driving improvements in product quality, process standardization, and operational Key Deliverables :-
- Overall accountability for Metallurgical operations across the organization, including activities at supplier premises to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
- Lead Metallurgical and Heat Treatment operations, managing a team of 25 and ensuring performance across supplier and in-house activities.
- Responsible for SQCD (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery) in heat treatment, NDT, inspection, and furnace maintenance.
- Drive vendor development, cost optimization, and issue resolution through effective analysis and improvement initiatives.
- Manage fluid systems (coolants, quench oil, RP oil, hydraulic oil) to maintain process stability and product quality.
- Oversee metallurgical testing and laboratory operations, including microstructure, case depth, and chemical analysis.
- Act as a trainer for metallurgical processes and defect prevention, enhancing workforce capability.
- Ensure compliance with key standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (CQI-9), AAR, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
