Role Overview

Automate AWS CI/CD and deployments, and lead the client's pipeline migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions.

Key Responsibilities

- Migrate repositories and pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that deploy to DEV, QA, and Production on AWS and private cloud.

- Automate configuration management and write tooling in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Implement zero-downtime deployments and keep pipelines and infrastructure secure.

- Plan releases with engineering teams, troubleshoot deployment issues, and report status to management.

Must Have Skills

- 4 - 8 years of AWS and CI/CD automation, with hands-on Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

- AWS Solutions Architect Associate,



plus Developer Associate and/or SysOps Administrator – Associate.

- Advanced AWS (VPC, EC2, Route53, IAM, Lambda) with Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Docker and Kubernetes, plus Node.js or .NET Core (C#).

- Robust scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash, and Windows/Linux administration in the cloud.

Nice to Have

- Prior Azure DevOps to GitHub migration (strongly preferred)

- Blue/Green or Canary deployments

- Secure SDLC (OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS Top 25)

- NoSQL and RDBMS (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Aurora)

- Azure, Google Cloud, or VMware
