We are looking for an experienced NX Plastic Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in automotive plastic component design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing automotive interior or exterior trims using Siemens NX.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive plastic components using Siemens NX.
- Work on interior and/or exterior trim components from concept to production.
- Create and modify 3D models, 2D drawings, and detailed design documentation.
- Apply knowledge of plastic part design, including draft, ribs, bosses, wall thickness, snap fits, and parting lines.
- Perform design modifications based on engineering requirements, packaging, manufacturing, and customer inputs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as CAE, tooling, manufacturing, and engineering.
- Support design reviews, prototype development, tooling, and production-related activities.
- Ensure designs meet DFM/DFA, quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
- Analyze and resolve design issues during development and production stages.
