About the Role

We are looking for a DGM IPQA to lead end-to-end quality excellence from Line Assembly to PDI, drive a Zero Defects culture, strengthen customer quality, and institutionalize robust CAPA, process audits, and digital quality systems through strong leadership and continuous improvement.

This is a strategic quality leadership role requiring strong experience in automotive quality, process audits, CAPA, problem-solving, quality management systems, and shop-floor quality management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Line Assembly to PDI Quality Management by ensuring product quality compliance, monitoring critical quality checkpoints, and preventing defect escapes.
- Drive Internal CAPA and Problem Solving for in-house defects and audit findings using 7 QC Tools, 8D, Why-Why and Fishbone analysis.
- Plan and conduct Process Audits across assembly lines and PDI, ensuring compliance with QMS, work instructions and control plans.
- Drive Zero Defects and Continuous Improvement initiatives through data analysis, audit insights and quality improvement projects.
- Lead Gemba and Daily Quality Management by conducting shop-floor reviews, engaging cross-functional teams and ensuring timely action-plan closure.
- Manage Customer Quality by supporting customer quality requirements and coordinating corrective and preventive actions to improve customer satisfaction.
- Drive Digital Factory and Quality Systems by ensuring effective system usage, accurate and timely data entry, analysis, and data-driven quality decisions.
- Lead and develop the Quality Team by allocating tasks,



providing technical guidance, coaching team members and ensuring accountability for deliverables.
- Ensure CAPA effectiveness and recurrence prevention by tracking ownership, closure and verification of corrective actions.
- Drive quality compliance and performance through effective planning, implementation and monitoring of Quality Management Systems.

What We Are Looking For

- 15+ years of experience in the Automotive Industry, with robust exposure to Quality Management and plant quality operations.
- BE Mechanical / DME with experience in planning, implementation and monitoring of Quality Management Systems.
- Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, 7 QC Tools, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience in Process Audits, Line Assembly to PDI Quality Management, Gemba, Zero Defects and Continuous Improvement.
- Strong capability in 8D, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Analysis and structured problem-solving.
- Good understanding of ISO 9001:2008 and quality compliance requirements.
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good planning and organizational ability, with proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint.
- Ability to use Digital Factory / Quality Management Systems, dashboards and quality data for effective decision-making.
- High level of motivation to learn and implement new technologies and drive continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in English and Tamil.
- Willingness to undertake moderate travel as required.
