Role & responsibilities

- Lead APQP/PPAP activities, quality gate reviews and milestone approvals throughout the NPD process.

- Drive design and process quality planning, including design reviews, risk assessments and lessons learned.

- Manage prototype, pre-series and pilot build quality to ensure defect-free product launches.

- Develop supplier and manufacturing quality through cross-functional coordination, problem solving and CAPA.

- Review quality performance and drive continuous improvement, KPI tracking and zero-defect launch initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- BE Mechanical / DME with 20+ years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in quality functions.

- Strong knowledge of NPD, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC.

- Good understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, manufacturing processes and supplier quality.

- Robust problem-solving, risk identification, data analysis and root-cause analysis skills using 8D and 5-Why.

- Strong leadership and communication skills to drive cross-functional teams, zero-defect launches and customer satisfaction.
