Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Delegate Acquisition role based in Maharashtra, India.

The Delegate

Acquisition professional is responsible for identifying, approaching, and securing relevant delegates for B2B conferences and events. Day-to-day activities include researching target audiences, building and maintaining contact databases, conducting outbound calls and emails, and presenting event value propositions to potential attendees. The role involves coordinating with marketing and event teams to align outreach campaigns, tracking responses, and ensuring delegate targets are met within timelines. The position also includes nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, gathering feedback from participants,



and supporting overall event success through effective communication and follow-up.

Qualifications

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage professionally with senior-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency in lead generation, prospecting, and delegate acquisition for B2B events or similar business development activities.
- Experience using CRM or database tools to manage contacts, track outreach, and report on acquisition metrics.
- Solid research and analytical abilities to identify relevant target audiences, sectors, and decision-makers.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle high-volume outreach and meet delegate targets and deadlines.
- Comfort with outbound calling, emailing, and virtual communication platforms; prior telesales or inside sales experience is an advantage.
- Understanding of B2B events, conferences, or media environments; experience in event management or marketing is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Maharashtra, India, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
