Databricks Platform Architect

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and set up enterprise Databricks platforms and architecture.
- Define landing zones, governance, security, and access-control frameworks.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and platform automation.
- Build and manage CI/CD, DevOps, and self-service platforms.
- Set up and manage DEV, QA, and PROD environments.
- Handle platform monitoring, operations, troubleshooting, and support.
- Drive Databricks cost and performance optimization.
- Design scalable Global Delivery (GD) operating models.
- Support nearshore Databricks operations and managed services.
- Integrate SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), and Databricks, working with the DSP/BDC platform team.
- Take end-to-end responsibility from platform setup through ongoing operations.

The combination of Databricks platform engineering, Terraform, CI/CD, governance, and SAP Datasphere/BDC integration is consistent with current Databricks platform roles
