We are looking for a Data Testing Engineer with strong experience in data validation, ETL/data warehouse testing, and database testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Snowflake or Databricks and be comfortable validating data across different layers of data pipelines.
Strong communication skills are mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data testing and validation across source, transformation, and target systems.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.
- Perform ETL/Data Warehouse testing and verify data transformation logic.
- Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Identify, analyze, and report data defects and inconsistencies.
- Work with development, data engineering,
and business teams to understand requirements and resolve data issues.
- Validate data pipelines and ensure expected data is loaded correctly into target systems.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end data testing.
- Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test data, and defect reports.
- Participate in defect discussions and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
