Hiring: Data Architect – Canonical Data Modeling

We are looking for a Data Architect who can own the correctness, stability, and evolution of a Canonical/Common Data Model across multiple source systems and clients.

This is NOT a traditional Data Integration Architect role. The focus is on designing a stable, source-agnostic data model and ensuring new systems and clients can be onboarded through configuration and mapping rules rather than hardcoded solutions.

Mandatory Skills

11+ years of experience in Data Architecture / Data Modeling

Proven ownership of a Canonical Data Model / Common Data Model across multiple source systems or clients

Strong Dimensional, Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Modeling

Experience with source-agnostic data modeling and abstraction

Solid config-driven / metadata-driven architecture experience

Hands-on data reconciliation,



validation and data-quality controls

Strong SQL and Python skills

Experience with relational databases – PostgreSQL preferred

Production-level architecture and code/configuration review experience

Data governance, schema versioning, schema evolution, lineage and change management

Hands-on experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf or equivalent AI coding assistants

Familiarity with agentic engineering patterns

Good to Have

Payroll / HR / Finance domain experience

Experience with ADP, Workday, SAP or similar enterprise systems

Azure data platform experience

Airflow / Prefect / Dagster

Data contracts and AI/ML data-readiness

Regulated-industry data governance
