Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities that enhance customer service, events, and community initiatives connected to the department store. In this role, the coordinator schedules and oversees volunteers, provides training and guidance, and ensures that volunteers have clear responsibilities and resources. The position involves maintaining regular communication with volunteers, addressing questions, and fostering a positive and inclusive volunteer culture.

The coordinator also collaborates with internal teams to identify areas where volunteer support is needed and assists with outreach to community organizations and partners.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to organize, guide, and support volunteer teams.




- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to interact effectively with volunteers, staff, and community partners.
- Candidates should possess experience or interest in Community Outreach to help build relationships and promote volunteer opportunities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage schedules, and use digital tools for coordination and communication.
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory practices.
- Prior experience in volunteer coordination, community programs, or customer-focused environments is beneficial.
