Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full-time, on-site role located in Shivamogga. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers to support company and community initiatives.

Daily tasks include organizing volunteer orientation and training sessions, maintaining accurate volunteer records, and ensuring clear communication about responsibilities, timelines, and safety guidelines. The Coordinator of Volunteers will plan and coordinate volunteer participation in events and outreach activities, collaborate with internal teams to identify volunteer needs, and monitor volunteer engagement and performance. The role also involves resolving volunteer-related issues, providing ongoing support and recognition, and preparing basic reports on volunteer utilization and impact.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Volunteer Management skills, including experience with volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and retention.




- Candidates should possess Volunteer Training skills, with the ability to design and deliver clear orientation and training sessions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills for working with diverse volunteer groups and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Community Outreach experience, with the ability to build relationships with local organizations and promote volunteer opportunities.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in social work, human resources, community development, or a related field are beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, attention to detail, and basic proficiency with office and data management software are preferred.
- Experience coordinating volunteers in industrial, engineering, or community project settings is an advantage.
