Diploma Mechanical Engineering (DME)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Construction Execution

- Supervise day-to-day fabrication yard activities including:
- Structural fabrication
- Fit-up and welding
- Assembly and erection of modules/jackets
- Outfitting and pre-commissioning activities

- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and procedures.

2. Planning & Work Coordination

- Coordinate with planning team to execute work as per schedule.
- Ensure availability of:
- Drawings (latest revisions)
- Materials
- Manpower and equipment

- Prepare daily and weekly work plans.

3. Productivity & Resource Management





- Monitor workforce productivity and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure productive deployment of manpower, tools, and equipment.
- Identify and remove bottlenecks affecting progress.

4. Quality Compliance

- Ensure fabrication activities comply with:
- Project specifications
- Approved WPS/PQR
- QA/QC procedures

- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and clearances.
- Address quality issues and ensure rectification.

5. Safety Management

- Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards and procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Ensure safe working practices in all yard activities (lifting, welding, blasting, etc.).
- Report and manage incidents and near misses.
