We are looking for a skilled Micro Focus COBOL Developer with 48 years of experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications built using Micro Focus COBOL on Unix/Linux or Windows platforms. The ideal candidate should have solid COBOL programming skills, experience with relational databases, and the ability to work across the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Micro Focus COBOL.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design documents.
- Develop new modules and enhance existing applications.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support production applications and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and database interactions.
- Work with sequential, indexed, and relative files.
