Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Data Tagger with a clinical background to support our AI development initiatives.

The role involves reviewing audio transcripts and contextual information from senior care and senior living environments and applying clinical judgment to determine whether observed situations or events are clinically valid based on defined clinical criteria.

The Clinical Data Tagger will play an important role in developing and validating benchmark datasets used to train and evaluate clinical intelligence system . In addition to assigning the appropriate tag, the individual will be expected to clearly document the clinical reasoning behind each decision.

Key Responsibilities

- Review audio transcripts and relevant contextual data from senior living and senior care environments.
- Interpret the available information using appropriate clinical context and judgment .
- Tag each example as clinically valid or not clinically valid based on established clinical criteria and guidelines.
- Provide a transparent, concise, and clinically sound rationale supporting each tagging decision.
- Distinguish between genuine clinical presentations and situations that may appear clinically relevant based only on isolated symptoms or phrases.
- Identify and flag ambiguous, unclear, or borderline cases for further review.
- Highlight recurring patterns, inconsistencies, potential data-quality issues, and areas where existing criteria may require clarification.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across assigned datasets.
- Work independently while following structured guidelines, workflows, and quality expectations.




- Collaborate with the project team and provide feedback that can help improve tagging guidelines and the overall data-quality process.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality and professional standards when handling clinical and senior-care-related data.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Clinical background with an understanding of acute clinical presentations.
- Suitable backgrounds may include:

Registered Nurse / Nursing professional Paramedic / Emergency Medical professional

Medical Student

Recent Clinical Graduate

Other relevant healthcare or clinical backgrounds
- Ability to understand and apply clinical context , rather than simply identifying or matching individual symptoms or keywords.
- Good understanding of common acute presentations and their clinical relevance.
- Strong written English skills with the ability to document clear, precise, and logical clinical reasoning .
- Ability to independently interpret information and make decisions using predefined clinical criteria.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across a large volume of examples.
- Comfortable working with structured workflows, guidelines, and quality standards.

Role Expectations The successful candidate should be able to go beyond simple symptom recognition and understand whether the available information supports a clinically meaningful interpretation . The quality of the role will be assessed not only by the accuracy of the tags but also by the clarity and clinical soundness of the reasoning provided for each decision .

Experience in healthcare, senior care, emergency/acute care, clinical documentation, medical data review, or healthcare AI/data annotation would be advantageous.
