We’re looking for a Citrix L1 professional with hands-on experience in Citrix Desktop Virtualization, VMware and Azure environments.
You’ll be part of the infrastructure operations team, supporting virtualized desktop and server environments, resolving incidents, maintaining service availability and working closely with L2 teams, SMEs and OEM partners.
This role requires someone who is comfortable troubleshooting in a production environment, understands ITIL processes and can take ownership of incidents through resolution and RCA.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and support Citrix Desktop & Server Virtualization environments.
- Work with XenApp, XenDesktop and XenServer for implementation, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Support VMware and Azure virtualization environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 escalated incidents in coordination with SMEs and L2 teams.
- Participate in major incident resolution and implement permanent fixes where required.
- Prepare RCA documentation for critical incidents.
- Prepare and execute POAs (Plan of Action) for infrastructure changes.
- Work with storage and connectivity components, including creating LUNs, shared storage and mapping storage to hypervisors .
- Coordinate with OEMs during major incidents and implement recommended solutions.
- Ensure adherence to SLA commitments and service availability .
- Follow ITIL-based Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, changes and resolutions.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of overall IT Infrastructure experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Citrix Desktop Virtualization .
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Citrix XenApp
- Citrix XenDesktop
- Citrix XenServer
- VMware
- Azure
- Desktop & Server Virtualization
- Hypervisors
- Storage
- Basic understanding of storage and connectivity fundamentals.
- Positive understanding of ITIL, Incident, Problem and Change Management .
- Experience working with L2 teams, SMEs and OEMs.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in US shifts .
