About the Role

We are looking for a Chief/ Senior Manager – Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Governance to drive strategic procurement initiatives and strengthen procurement governance across the organization.

The role will focus on sourcing Professional Services, Consulting, Audit Services, Banking Tools & Technology, and Technical Manpower, while ensuring compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

- Manage the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, including requirement gathering, RFP/RFQ management, vendor evaluation, negotiations, vendor finalization, and contract execution.
- Drive strategic sourcing for qualified services, consulting, audit engagements, banking tools, and technical manpower.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities through market intelligence, benchmarking, and effective negotiations.
- Ensure timely procurement execution while maintaining quality, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Procurement Governance & Compliance

- Act as the custodian of procurement governance, ensuring adherence to SCM policies, SOPs, DOA, contracting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor procurement transactions, identify process deviations, and strengthen internal controls.
- Drive procurement compliance reviews, audit readiness, and corrective action plans.

Vendor Risk & Contract Management

- Manage vendor onboarding,



due diligence, and compliance screening.
- Oversee vendor risk assessments, including blacklist checks, regulatory screening, ROC verification, and other relevant compliance checks.
- Ensure proper contract execution, centralized contract repository management, renewals, and agreement tracking.
- Monitor vendor performance and conduct periodic vendor performance reviews.

Audit, MIS & Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate procurement-related internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Prepare procurement MIS, spend analytics, compliance reports, and management dashboards.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, and business teams to ensure seamless procurement execution.
- Drive procurement awareness, process improvements, automation, and policy enhancement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For
- 10–15 years of overall experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Governance, or Compliance Management.
- Strong experience in sourcing and procurement of:
- Professional & Consulting Services
- Audit Services
- Banking Tools & Technology Services
- Technical Manpower / Resource Augmentation
- Experience in procurement audits, vendor governance, contract management, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP platforms, procurement workflows, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Procurement MIS reporting.
- Knowledge of contract lifecycle management and procurement governance frameworks.
