Role Description The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at IEEE KTU Student Branch is a part time, remote position responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy and brand presence of the organization. The CMO will design and implement marketing plans for events, initiatives, and campaigns, ensuring alignment with the branch’s mission and objectives.

Daily activities include coordinating with student leaders and committees, overseeing promotional content for digital channels, monitoring campaign performance, and optimizing outreach based on data and feedback. The role involves managing relationships with partners, sponsors, and university stakeholders, guiding the marketing team, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. The CMO will also prepare brief reports and presentations on marketing outcomes and make recommendations to support growth and engagement.

Qualifications

- Ability to develop and execute Market Planning strategies, including campaign design and scheduling.




- Strong Market Research skills for understanding audience needs, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Experience in Public Relations, including managing external communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Marketing Management, such as overseeing marketing projects and coordinating team activities.
- Foundational knowledge of Sales principles, particularly in promoting events, memberships, and sponsorships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity.
- Experience using digital marketing tools and social media platforms to drive visibility and engagement.
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and time management skills in a team or student organization setting.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Prior involvement in student branches, professional societies, or tech communities is a plus.
