Chartered Accountant

Position: Chartered Accountant Finance & Accounts

Group Companies: Abhitech Energycon Limited & Technocrafts Electric Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Powai, Hirananadani

CTC: 810 LPA

Experience: 5–8 years post-qualification

Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

About the Role

We are looking for a Qualified Chartered Accountant to manage and strengthen key Finance & Accounts, MIS, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, audit and internal control activities for our Group Companies – Abhitech Energycon Limited and Technocrafts Electric Pvt. Ltd.

The role will work closely with senior management and business teams and will have exposure to financial planning, management reporting, statutory compliances and IPO-readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & MIS

- Prepare and present monthly MIS covering P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, KPIs and variance analysis.
- Provide financial analysis and management reports to support business decision-making.
- Monitor key financial indicators and highlight significant variances and business risks.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of financial reports to management.

2. Budgeting & Financial Planning

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Prepare and monitor Budget vs. Actual analysis.
- Work with various departments to understand business requirements, costs and financial projections.
- Support management in financial planning and cost-control initiatives.

3. Accounts Closure & Finalisation

- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closure activities.
- Ensure timely finalisation of accounts and financial statements.




- Ensure accounting and reporting are carried out in accordance with applicable Ind AS requirements.
- Review accounting entries, reconciliations and schedules for accuracy.

4. Direct & Indirect Taxation

- Handle Direct Taxation, TDS/TCS, Income Tax assessments and Tax Audit matters.
- Manage GST and other applicable indirect tax compliances.
- Ensure timely tax filings, reconciliations and resolution of tax-related issues.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities, wherever required.

5. Audit & Compliance

- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors and Tax Auditors.
- Ensure timely completion of audits and closure of audit observations.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation and regulatory requirements.

6. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

- Monitor receivables, payables and working capital.
- Track cash-flow requirements and support effective cash-flow planning.
- Analyse outstanding receivables/payables and work with business teams for timely closure.
- Support management in improving working capital efficiency.

7. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

- Strengthen internal financial controls, accounting processes and SOPs.




- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Ensure appropriate controls and approval mechanisms are followed across finance processes.
- Support implementation/improvement of ERP and accounting systems.

8. IPO / Corporate Finance Readiness

- Support IPO-related financial due diligence and preparation of financial information.
- Assist with DRHP-related financial requirements and supporting documentation.
- Ensure finance and reporting processes are aligned with requirements and timelines applicable to an IPO-bound/listed organisation.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants and internal stakeholders for IPO-readiness activities.

Candidate Profile

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Finance & Accounts, MIS, taxation, audit and financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of Ind AS, GST, TDS/TCS and Income Tax.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of MS Excel and working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple finance activities and work with senior management.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:

- Listed Company / IPO-bound organisation
- Large corporate or professionally managed organisation
- Manufacturing / Engineering industry
- Project-based businesses
- IPO preparation, financial due diligence or DRHP-related activities
- Strong exposure to MIS, budgeting and management reporting
